Evaluation & First Week Practice Schedule
New swimmers! Swim team evaluations will be held on Monday, May 12th, and Tuesday, May 13th, from 4:30 – 5:30 pm at the Chickahominy YMCA Indoor Pool (5401 Whiteside Rd. Sandston, VA 23150)
– All new swimmers, attend when able during the time frame, ONLY attend one day, waiver to be done on arrival at the YMCA.
What to expect? Swimmer to swim one length of the pool in less than 3 minutes. OK to pause and briefly hold the lane line if needed.
Dryland Team Practice at Antioch Pool
All ages – Wednesday, May 14 and Thursday, May 15, from 5:30 – 6:30 pm.
What to expect? Swimmers to begin core training and get to know your teammates! Bring a towel! Bathing suits are not needed yet. Wear athletic clothes and athletic shoes.
Please Note:
There is NO practice on May 26th or July 4th due to holidays.
Practice on Monday evenings (or any evening that a meet may get rescheduled to) will not occur when there is a scheduled swim meet (1st meet is June 2).

Meet Schedule
We will be hosting 3 meets and traveling to 3 meets. Home meets will require more volunteer positions than away meets.
Meet start times are not when swimmers are to arrive at the pool for check-in and warm-ups, those will be different for home and away meets.

“Pool member” rates are for those who have purchased a summer membership and registration is now open for members. “Swim Team only” registration is now open.

Per JRAC rules, the swimmer’s age as of June 1 determines which age group they swim for the season. Please carefully select the age group when you register and be sure to select your child as the swimmer.
